In compliance with the terms of art. 13 of Law Decree dated 30 June 2003, no. 196, Code on the protection of personal data, and considering EU Recommendation of 17 May 2001 governing the minimum requirements for the on-line data collection, CTE International srl informs the users of the website, which can be accessed via the main URL address http://www.cte.it or www.midlandgroup.eu and, in particular, the users who are interested in having access to the section denominated Reserved Area, on the following aspects relating to the treatment of personal information.
1. Owner and Staff in Charge of Data Treatment.
CTE International srl(hereinafter referred to as CTE International srl), with registered office in 42100 Reggio Emilia (ITALY), Via Sevardi n.7, is the owner of the right relating to the treatment of personal information that may be gathered in the ways specified below following the consultation of this website. At any moment, users shall be entitled to ask for an updated list of the staff in charge of data treatment by sending a specific request to e-mail address to info@cte.it of CTE international srl subject “updated list of staff in charge of data treatment”.

The provision of data by users via the registration with the section Reserved Area implies the knowledge and acceptance of the terms envisaged herein, as well as the consent to treat personal information. Users shall therefore read this Information Report prior to providing their personal data.
Users shall guarantee that they belong to the categories authorised to have access to the Reserved Area when providing their personal information, which shall be true and updated. In this respect, users shall undertake to update information so that it is always in line with reality. CTE International srl reserves the right to reject a registration, in particular if the applying users do not belong to the categories authorised to have access to the Reserved Area.
- Users Providing Data Voluntarily
The voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses given in the section Contacts of this website implies the knowledge and acceptance of the terms contained herein. Furthermore, it implies that senders allow the acquisition and treatment of their addresses, which are necessary to answer the users’ questions or to carry out the service/performance requested, as well as of the other possible personal information contained in the message. This data is used exclusively with the purpose of providing users with the requested information or with a specific service/performance, therefore it is kept only for the period of time required to carry out the mentioned operations.
- Surfing Data
The IT systems and software designed for running this website allow to acquire, during their normal operation, some personal information, the transmission of which is intrinsic to the use of Internet communication protocols. The nature of this information, its processing and the combination to the data held by third parties may allow the identification of users. The treatments related to the services provided by this website are performed at the headquarters of the Consortium and information can be known by CTE International s.r.l staff authorised to deal with data in their capacities as the Manager or staff in charge of data to achieve the purposes specified above, or by people in charge of occasional maintenance operations. The data collected shall not be disseminated.
6. Rights of Users Concerned.
At any moment, the users concerned shall be entitled to check the data held by CTE International s.r.l, its origin and use; they shall also be entitled to update, correct, supplement or delete the data collected, to ask for its block and oppose its treatment for legitimate reasons. The e-mail address given by the users during the registration with the Reserved Area may be used by CTE International s.r.l to send newsletters with information and news relating to the contents of the Reserved Area and of the website. At any moment, users shall be entitled to revoke the consent to send newsletters to their e-mail address by sending a specific message info@cte.it.
8. Cookies.
CTE International s.r.l informs users that “cookies” are used to determine the number of visits to our website and to allow the management of other languages. At any moment, users can disable cookies tracing functions in their browser, but in certain cases this may cause malfunctioning of our website.
9. Safety Measures.
CTE International s.r.l guarantees that data treatment performed by means of electronic instruments complies with the minimum safety standards envisaged by the regulations in force. In particular, these safety measures aim at preventing the loss, illicit dissemination and distortion of personal data, as well as unauthorised access thereto. All safety measures are constantly controlled and periodically checked. CTE International s.r.l undertakes to treat the data gathered with due diligence and guarantees maximum confidentiality in any treatment phase. The data relating to the Reserved Area shall be kept for a period of time not exceeding the time strictly necessary for fulfilling the purpose for which data was collected.
10. Informative Report Change.
CTE International s.r.l reserves the right to change this Informative Report at any moment in compliance with the regulations in force and with the prior notification to the users concerned both by publishing the change on this web page or any other page of the website, and by any other means of communication deemed appropriate.
